Try 14 days free(gentle bright music) Headspace Studio. Hi, folks. Robin here. And I am just letting you know that we are on a little Headspace vacation at the moment. Don't worry, we are not leaving you. Instead, we are sharing a few of our favorite episodes and we will be back on Tuesday, September 12th, kicking things off with a back-to-school mindful parenting episode. Woo! (gentle upbeat music) Have you ever wished you had a wise meditation teacher on speed dial? Someone you can call after a long day. Someone you could lean on for their advice. Someone to listen and help you to see things differently. Welcome to "Dear Headspace". (gentle upbeat music) Hello, everyone. We are back with another episode of "Dear Headspace", a podcast where each week I sit down with a Headspace meditation teacher and we answer your questions. I'm Robin Hopkins and I am here with Headspace Meditation teacher extraordinaire, Kessonga. Thank you for the extraordinaire part. That felt really nice. It should be on your business cards if it's not already. I'm just saying. (Kessonga chuckles) It's not every day you're called extraordinary. So I thoroughly appreciate that. For example, like you'd see them just having fun or just having lots of friends that they have to go out with and you compare your life with those stories or posts as they are such. Or probably just comparing your work, maybe based on the number of likes you're receiving and getting into this vicious cycle where you're constantly seeking out for external validation through social media. So it would be great if you could give an advice as to how not to get affected with such things, that would be great. Thank you. I hope you have a great day. (gentle bright music) Uh-hmm. Hmm, that is such a wonderful question, right? Wow, what a great question. Yeah, I think that question is so, so relevant today. So just a couple of, I guess, social media tips if you will. First off, we all can relate to it, right? Yes, yes. 'Cause I think that's the nature of social media. You just naturally compare yourself. So before you even get on to social media, as soon as you're about to, just kind of like what we did today, just setting that intention. Setting what is my intention for getting onto social media? What do I want, right? What am I aware of? Okay, so I'm about to go on Instagram. I use Instagram 'cause...
