Better mental health starts with Headspace

Hi, Thomas here, and welcome to this moment of reflection and journaling on our journey of seeking discomfort. Oftentimes, we can take an all or nothing approach when it comes to facing our fears. But instead of thinking about seeking discomfort as all or nothing, I wonder if there's a way you can reframe it as all or something. Even small steps outside of your comfort zone are worthy of recognition as well. Let's grab a pen and paper and take some time now to reflect whether that's through journaling or self-reflection. What are three simple actions you could do today in less than five minutes each that will help you work through any resistance and help you start tackling your discomfort. For example, when I don't feel like working out just putting on my workout clothes or getting my gym bag ready or booking a class ahead of time can be enough to give me the momentum that I need to take that first step. After writing them down, review your list and choose one to act on today. We'll give you a few minutes now to reflect on this but feel free to take whatever time you need. (peaceful music begins) (peaceful music continues) (peaceful music continues) (peaceful music continues) (peaceful music continues) Thank you for joining me for this reflection exercise. If you found this helpful, share this exercise with a friend who is reaching outside of their comfort zone....
