(air whooshing) (mouse clicks) (gentle music) Headspace Studios. Hi, everyone, it's Robin, and I wanna tell you that today on "Dear Headspace," we have got questions about recovering from major surgery, continuing your practice during the good days, and using mindfulness to get to an ever-growing to-do list. Here we go. (gentle music) Have you ever wished you had a wise meditation teacher on speed dial? Someone you can call after a long day? Someone you could lean on for their advice? Someone to listen and help you to see things differently? Welcome to "Dear Headspace," a podcast where I sit with a meditation teacher, and we answer your questions. Hello, everyone, I'm Robin Hopkins, and today, it's me and Kessonga coming at ya. Pew, pew, pew, pew, pew, pew. (Robin and Kessonga laughing) I don't know, I'm in that kinda mood today, Robin. (laughing) I did not see that coming. I did not see that coming. (Robin and Kessonga laughing) Oh my God. The kids are off today, so I'm a little wacky. I'm a little wacky right now. I already know what that's like for you. I just do. All right, without further ado, here is our first question from Yuvi. All right. Hi, my name is Yuvi. So any advice on how to look at this in a positive way and being mindful about it would be awesome, thank you. Change, in and of itself is, or can be, difficult, all right, and then add to that is dealing with a physical injury. Yeah, and loss of routine, loss of, like, your whole... Right. That can really knock you out. Yeah, no, no, absolutely. Physical injury, I think, is one of those things that can be extremely stressful, and you don't even realize it- Yeah. until it's, like, present, especially as Yuvi stated. He's used to being active. Yes. If you're used to being active, and then all of a sudden, you get an injury, and then you're like sidelined, oh my goodness, that can be extremely stressful and extremely tough. So, yeah, Yuvi, I'm so sorry that you experienced this injury, and send you all the healing energy (chuckling) (Robin laughing) that we can. It reminds me, so I used to be an acupuncturist, and I worked with- Wait, wait. You were an acupuncturist? Like, how many jobs have you had in your...
