I am so excited because today on "Dear Headspace," even I will be answering your questions about falling back into thoughts of an ex, what to do when you feel stuck in your life, but also feel a lot of pressure about your future, and surprisingly, we will be chatting about gardening. I'm not kidding. Is it stress-reducing or is it stress-enhancing? And I am gonna tell you that this city girl will need Eve's thoughts on that one. Have you ever wished you had a wise meditation teacher on speed dial? Someone you can call after a long day. Someone you could lean on for their advice. Someone to listen and help you to see things differently. Welcome to "Dear Headspace," a podcast where I sit with a meditation teacher and we answer your questions. (mellow music) Hi, friends. And I have to say hi, Eve. It's been, as the kids used to say, a hot minute since we were together. Hey, Robin. Yes, I know. It's been a few months, but it's really nice to be back. It is nice to see you. I mean, you've had a few, couple of months. I mean, I don't wanna say bad, but you've had some months. Oh, I would use the word bad. (laughs) Yeah. My mom passed away in June and it's been awful, actually. Very, very difficult time. But I was extremely grateful to be back home with her to care for her in her final weeks and to be with my sister and just process it all, really. Unfortunately, have been here before. My dad passed away five years ago. So it's been a time, but I am so grateful to everyone's love and support and kindness and understanding. And it's just been, honestly, it's been amazing how many people have reached out, especially on like Instagram and have sent me messages, sharing their own experiences. And I just wanna extend my heart to anyone who is going through this. On the other side, though, it's nice, it is nice to be back. It's nice to have a bit of structure again. It's nice to get back in to work. My parents were very proud of the work I do. So yeah, I'm excited for today. Well, I just wanna say thank you for, you know, sharing with everyone because you sharing something may help someone else share, so I appreciate that you did talk about that with us. And I am just really excited that you're here today and that you're back and that we are getting into some really incredible listener questions because we've got some really fantastic ones. And I'm gonna start right away with our first one from David. Let's get into it. (soft music) Dear Headspace, my name is David and I'm from Colombia. Three months ago I had a breakup, a really big one, and I've been recovering from it every day....
