Try 14 days freeHi, my name's Andy. I was born in Bristol, that's in England. I had a pretty ordinary childhood. I was sporty and maybe just a little bit cheeky. One unusual thing, though, was being introduced to meditation by my mom. I didn't think much of it at the time, but in my late teens, I went through some traumatic events that caused me to reconsider everything. So I ended up leaving England, traveling to Asia, and training to be a monk, 'cause that's what you do, right? I ended up being away for the best part of 10 years, and I had some amazing teachers during that time. When it was time to come back, I moved to London and I joined the circus. Yeah, I know how that sounds. It's a story for another time. By that stage, I wasn't a monk anymore, but I was still teaching meditation. A friend suggested we try and make it available to more people, so we got together. We called it Headspace. I wrote some books, we did a few events, and before long we launched the app. These days, Headspace is much more than meditation, but it's still about improving the health and happiness of the world. It's been an amazing journey and I can't wait to share it with you....
