Try 14 days free(soft music) Hi, there, it's me, Alan from Sesame Street, and you're listening to Goodnight, World, a sleepcast where your friends at Sesame Street and Headspace Studios help you get ready for bed. Good night, world. Good night, world. Good night, world. Goodnight, world. Good night, world. Good night, world. Good night, world. Tonight's episode is. Elmo Helps At Hooper's. (bell dinging) Hello there, it's me Alan. Oh, and Elmo, Elmo's here too. And Elmo too. Elmo's here with me at Hooper's Store while his mommy and daddy run some errands. We're glad you're here too. Yeah, Elmo really likes being with his friends. Hey, Alan, Elmo's mostly here at Hooper's during the day time. Oh, that's right. I guess this is the first time you're here so close to bedtime. What does Alan do in the store then? Well, I have a lot to do before I had home for my own bedtime. Oh, like what? Do you have to brush your teeth, and put on your pajamas, like Elmo? Yes, but not until later when I'm home. Here at Hooper's Store, I have a routine, things I do every night before I close the store. Let's see, I tidy up the shelves. I put away all these forks and spoons, and stack the plates. Then I have to fold all the napkins. Whoa, that's a lot to do. What would you like to do while I'm tidying up the store? Would you like to do some coloring? I've got some crayons and coloring books for you. Oh, Elmo does like coloring. Oh, but Elmo has an idea. Yes? Elmo would like to help Alan. Oh, that's so kind of you to help me, Elmo. What a nice idea. Hmm. Oh, I know. While I fill up some of these empty shelves with more cans of peas and beans, it would be a great help if you could sort the spoons and forks into two different piles. Yeah, Elmo can do that. There should be 10 forks and 10 spoons. Can you count them for me too? Sure. Thank you, Elmo. Okay, Elmo will start sorting spoons and forks now. Then Elmo will count all of them. (Alan humming) Okay all the spoons go here. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10. 10 spoons all together. And now, the forks. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10. 10 forks all together. Wow, that's some super-duper counting, Elmo, and fast. What a big help. Oh, what else can you Elmo do, Alan? Elmo likes to help. What else? While I'm stacking plates, can you fold these napkins? There should be 10 of those too. Sure, Alan. Just listen to Elmo count. Okay, here goes. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10. 10 napkins all together! Oh, Elmo, you helped me finish tidying up the store. Thank you so much, that was really kind of you. It was fun.
